FIDELIS MANYUCHI

Fidelis Manyuchi is an experienced Corporate & Commercial Lawyer who has led and participated in high profile mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and business transactions.

Over the years, he has participated in various key transactions, that range from acquisitions of lithium, gold, chrome, and limestone mines, as well as manufacturing companies. The combined asset value of these transactions is close to a billion dollars.

In the energy sector, he has advised on the setting up of a solar power generation plant and advises an independent hydro power generation company.

In addition to advising on transactions, Fidelis has also been involved in commercial litigation in the highest courts of the land with notable cases being on tax. He is an avid writer and has published multiple articles on various aspects of the law.

Fidelis is also involved in institutional building, capacity enhancements and value addition for his clients’ investments. He firmly believes that if the law is properly used it can lead to the creation of sustainable institutions which are essential for the economic development of Zimbabwe and the continent at large.

He holds a LLB (with distinction) and LLM (Corporate & Commercial Law from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and a certificate in capital markets.
