FIDELIS MANYUCHI

Fidelis Manyuchi is an experienced corporate & commercial legal practitioner who has led and participated in high profile business transactions. Over the years he has advised on business structures; disposal & acquisitions of mining assets; restructuring & corporate rescue.

The key transactions he has been involved in include; inter alia; setting up of a satellite television provider in Zimbabwe; group restructuring and disposal of a lithium mining conglomerate; as well as setting up an agricultural, citrus plantation joint venture.

In addition to advising on transactions, Fidelis has also been involved in commercial litigation in the highest courts of the land. He is an avid writer and has published multiple articles, including those on the African Free Continental Trade Agreement.

Fidelis is also involved in institutional building; capacity enhancements and value addition for his clients’ investments.  He firmly believes that if the law is properly used it can lead to the creation of sustainable institutions which are essential for the economic development of Zimbabwe and the continent at large.

He holds a LLB (with distinction) and LLM (Corporate & Commercial Law from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and a certificate in capital markets.
